IMPORTANT NOTE FOR CONGRESS ATTENDEES WHO WILL BE COMING TO ANTWERP BY CAR
Please note that as of 2017, Antwerp has decreed that a large part of the inner city will fall under the rules of the 'LEZ', the Low Emission Zone.
This means that the most polluting cars will no longer be allowed in the city, and risk a fine upon entering.

The Theater Hotel**** was chosen as "congress hotel".
This elegant hotel is ideally located in the historic center of Antwerp. Most of Antwerp's best attractions are in walking distance, including the congress venue 'Elzenveld' and the location for the congress dinner(on Thursday) which are literally just around the corner.

Of course you can always choose to stay in another hotel; we do suggest you to book a hotel on walking distance. Many hotels offer parking spaces and there are quite a lot public parkings available.

Parking facilities in Antwerp:
The congress hotel itself does not offer parking, but there are three public parkings at walking distance- the closest one is literally around the corner w the furthest one being only at some 350m from the congress hotel and venue.

Via Brussels Airport
The national airport receives flights from over 200 destinations in 66 countries every day.
It's easy to travel from Brussels national airport to Antwerp by train. You can take the Brussels Airport Express ( 4 trains per hour) to Brussels North, Central or South. From those stations, there are several trains to Antwerp every hour. Please consult the website of the Belgian Railways (NMBS) for information about schedules and fares.
Via Brussels South Charleroi Airport
The popular regional airport receives several low-cost flights daily from various other cities and regions across Europe.
The Brussels South station is the Belgian hub for international train traffic, receiving multiple high-speed trains per day from Paris (Thalys and TGV), Lille (Eurostar and TGV), London (Eurostar), Amsterdam (Thalys) and Cologne (Thalys and ICE). Every hour, there are several trains that leave Brussels South that stop in Antwerp.
